JAMMU, Dec 3: Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu and Government College for Women, Parade, Jammu organized a voluntary blood donation camp in the College premises in collaboration with HDFC Bank, Jammu and PG Department of Blood Transfusion and Medicines, Government Medical College, Jammu wherein 17 volunteers of the college donated their blood, today.
Dr Hemla Aggarwal, Principal, inaugurated the blood donation camp and lauded the gesture of the College students who come forward and donated the blood for Humanitarian Cause.
A team of the Doctors from Blood Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu headed by Dr Nazia were the incharge of the event. This camp was organized by Dr Aruna Dubey, Dean of GCW, Parade, Jammu and NSS Programme Officers Dr Richpal Singh and Prof Shivali.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Arun Channa of HDFC Bank, Jammu.
