Recruitment of teachers

Sir,
Raising minimum qualification for a teacher from 10+2 standard to graduation level is indeed a strong step to ameliorate the schooling conditions and impart quality  education to our youths. But putting a tag of 30 percent reservation for Math and Science is somewhat irksome and displeases those who are from arts side. Extension of employment opportunities uniformally, brings satisfaction to the entire edifice of the society and meets the parameters of justice. What actually is needed in the existing scenario, is to take out the deptt from the mismanagement and corruption which have been in vogue for a long time, creating a phenomena of disinterestedness among the parents  to send their wards in Govt schools. Enough time is needed to streamline the policies and norms to plug  loopholes in the systems, particularly transfer policy requires deep thought. Unjustified placements and transfers without peeping into the problems/needs of teachers renders them incapable of  discharging their duties single-mindedly. Carrying a horse to the water isn’t difficult, but to make it drink is not easy. Obviously, the maladies crept into the system aren’t owing to the fault of the teachers community but poor implementation of the norms and policies from time to time.
Yours etc….
