RAMNAGAR, Feb 4: Senior BJP leader, and former Minister, Priya Sethi today asked the party cadre to strengthen the organization from the booth-level, and reach out to prospective voters from all segments and age-groups.
The former Minister said this while addressing a meeting of party workers Shakti Kendra Pramukhs and Mandel presidents during her visit to Ramnagar here, today.
She was accompanied by the former BJP MLA, R.S. Pathania and district president Udhampur, Puran Chand besides several party workers and activists.
While addressing the party cadre including Shakti Kendre Pramukhs ,Mandel presidents, Priya Sethi said that booth level setup is exceptional component of BJP structural functioning only and it the easiest medium to remain connected to people at the grass roots level.
She said that the Union Government led by the PM Narendra Modi has taken multiple welfare measures for the benefit of the people irrespective of their caste creed colour region or religion as a result of which people in every nook and corner of the nation including J&K UT are impressed with its result oriented performance especially unprecedented development. This development tempo will continue in Jammu and Kashmir in near future also and for this people should extend overwhelming support to the party, she said.
Though the party has a strong organizational setup, yet there is a need for further strengthening, the former Minister asserted while asking the Shakti Kendre Pramukhs Mandel presidents at booth level to gear up for Assembly elections in J&K expected to be held soon after the delimitation of constituencies.
While lauding the party cadre for their industrious functioning right up to booth level, Priya Sethi urged them to leave no stone unturned in further strengthening the party’s base so that BJP forms its own Government in J&K after Assembly elections.
Former BJP MLA, R.S Pathania, in his address said to adopt innovative measures in their functioning at the grass roots level to make the party more strong. He said that the ground level workers are the most valuable assets on whom depends success of the party. Exuding confidence in them, he urged them to work as per the directions elaborated by Priya Sethi in the meeting.
