KISHTWAR, Mar 26: Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Rural Development Department (RDD) died due to fall from the stairs of a private guest house late last night.
As per police sources, a AEE of REW Wing of RDD Kishtwar namely Bishan Lal, a resident of Padder, District Kishtwar received injuries due to fall from the stairs of a private guest house here.
He was rushed to District Hospital, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
After completing legal formalities, the body has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Kishtwar police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC.
