Ravinder Sharma conducts tour of Nowshera, Sunderbani

JAMMU, Feb 10: Ravinder Sharma, Chief Spokesperson J&K Pradesh Congress Committee undertook extensive tour of Nowshera-Sunderbani area and paid obeisance at Guru Ravi Dass ji temple  Lamberi and Laam today and also took stock of various problems of people of the area.
Speaking on the occasion Sharma said that Guru Ravi Dass was a great reformer of under-privileged and down trodden sections of the society. We should follow his teachings of peace, humanity, love, equality and social justice. He appealed the people to reject the social evils and avail the facilities enshrined in the Constitution by Dr B R Ambedkar for the weaker and down trodden people of the country.
While interacting with the people at various places Sharma said that there was general complain that in spite of increasing the rates they are not getting adequate quantity of ration and news of  Aadhar Cards compulsory for getting ration has added more to  their miseries.  He said that still a large number of population is without Aadhar Cards and urged upon the Government to take early steps  to provide them Aadhar Cards.
At Laroka, the people have complained that a Tehsil and Higher Secondary school was sanctioned for Laroka but the same have not been opened. Sharma urged the Government to set up Niabat Tehsil and also a higher secondary school in the area  in the larger interest of the general public.
