Ravinder conducts tour of Nowshera

NOWSHERA, Oct 1: Ravinder Sharma, former MLC and chief spokesman of JKPCC conducted tour of Nowshera area of district Rajouri and took stock of the problems of the people.
Mr Sharma was apprised by the people that their maze-crops have been damaged and the farmers have suffered a great loss because of over yield due to weather conditions and demanded assessment of loss by way of a special Girdowari and adequate compensation to the farmers who suffered loss, besides providing free ration and fertilizers.
He strongly criticized State Government for its utter failure to accept the demands of agitating All J&K PHE-ITI trained daily wagers, C P Workers and need base workers, who are seeking regularization policy.
Mr Sharma alleged that the developmental activities of all sorts are standstill and all projects sanctioned and initiated by the previous State and Central Government are being deliberately delayed. He questioned the Government over lack of funding for Beri-Pattan lift irrigation scheme, upgradation of Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani-Nowshera and non starting of work of constructing building for Degree college and vegetable market at Sunderbani.
Som Nath, Harbans Lal Bakshi-president BCC Nowshera, Shamsher Singh-president BCC Sunderbani Block and other prominent Congress workers including Sarpanchs and Panchs, attended the meeting.
