Ration, medicine shortage in rural Jammu: Bhim

JAMMU, Apr 7: Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party, Prof. Bhim Singh has urged the Prime Minister of India to hold an urgent meeting, may be online, with recognized parties as well as Panchayat representatives of J&K to find solution for the alleged difficulties of Jammu province residents.
In a handout Prof. Singh claimed that there is no ration supply in the villages and the residents have not been provided ration for three months in rural Jammu.
He also claimed that Government dispensaries are short of medicines because of the ongoing lockdown.
Singh demanded commendation for village Panchayats for having worked for the people in the respective Panchayat areas.
He also said that the Anganwadi Centers in entire Jammu province have no more ration available with them.
Prof Singh demanded urgent release of all the 400 political prisoners lodged in different jails, hotels etc.
