JAMMU, Apr 3: TR Gupta Public Charitable Trust distributed ration among 60 poor and needy families of Ward Number 37 of Janipur, in the presence of Councilor Sunita Gupta, former chairman SISCO Subash Jandiyal
The trust headed by the great philanthropist TR Gupta has regularly been helping the poor and needy people of the society from time to time. During the last about two years since its inception, the trust has distributed blankets, warm clothes, sewing machines, wheel chairs, ration, medicines etc among the poor and needy many times. However, due to COVID pandemic, the charity activities got slowed down, but the trust is trying to do its best in the present circumstances.
During his address, T R Gupta assured the gathering to extend all possible help to the needy and deserving people of any strata of society with regard to marriage of girls, children education, need of medicine/medical treatment, sewing machines to the ladies for self sustenance, etc.
T R Gupta, the chief trustee was accompanied by other trustees namely M M Gupta, Dr Ashok Gupta, Naresh Gupta and Kailash Langer. Many social workers namely Dr Tilak Raj Gupta, Vipin Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Mohan Lal Gupta, Yash Pal Yash etc were also present.
