JAMMU, Aug 11: To assess the pace of progress of construction work on Finance Complex, Minister for Finance Abdul Rahim Rather visited Lower Muthi today.
The Minister was accompanied by Director General Accounts and Treasury Altaf Hassan Mirza, Director Accounts and Treasury Jammu Lochan Dass, and other senior officers of concerned departments.
Expressing his dissatisfaction over the pace of construction work on the project, Mr. Rather directed the executing agency to gear up their men and machinery so that the prestigious project is completed at an earliest. He gave two month deadline for the completion of Finance Complex.
The Minister went around the Finance Complex and checked the quality of work there. He directed JDA to ensure quality work and also to use quality material in the construction work. He said any laxity in this regard will not be tolerated.
