JAMMU, Feb 27: A rashly driven ambulance carrying patient hit a stranded truck near Kaluchack, resulting into grievous injuries to five persons.
As per police sources, a rashly driven ambulance bearing registration number JK02AC-4102 carrying patient was on its way from Ghagwal, district Samba to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), when it hit a stranded truck near Kaluchack, resulting into grievous injuries to all the occupants.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Rakesh Kumar (patient), son of Dharam Pal, Rajesh Kumar (driver), son of Balwant Singh and Ganesh, son of Om Parkash, all residents of Ghagwal, district Samba.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bari-Brahmana police station and investigation started.
