JAMMU, Apr 18: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today conducted an extensive tour of Ward No. 74, Sainik Colony. He was accompanied by officials of the JMC and local residents.
During the visit, he interacted with residents and patiently listened to their grievances.
The main issue highlighted by the public was the overflow of drain water on roads, causing inconvenience and unhygienic conditions in the area.
Taking serious note of the matter, the MLA issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officials to immediately address the drainage problem and ensure proper disposal systems are put in place.
Reaffirming his commitment to public welfare, Ch. Vikram Randhawa assured the residents that this issue will be resolved on priority and all necessary works will be completed in a time-bound manner.
The residents appreciated the swift action and proactive approach of the MLA in addressing their concerns and ensuring better civic amenities in the locality.
