JAMMU, June 1: MLA Bahu Constituency Vikram Randhawa today started the construction work of lane and drain in Ward number 47, Last Morh, Bahu Fort under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The work was started in the presence of Mandal president Surjeet Singh, his team members, former corporator Sharda Kumari, local residents, officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), and the concerned contractor.
Addressing the gathering, Randhawa stated that the demand for proper lane and drain infrastructure had been repeatedly raised by residents during his previous visit to the area. Taking serious note of the issue, he personally inspected the locality and assured the people that their genuine demand would be addressed at the earliest. With the commencement of this work today, that commitment has now been fulfilled.
The MLA reiterated that development at the grassroot level remains his top priority and that no area of the constituency will be neglected. He directed the concerned officials and contractor to ensure quality work and timely completion of the project so that residents receive maximum benefit.
The local residents remarked that the start of this development work reflects the MLA’s commitment to translating public demands into concrete action and improving civic amenities across the Bahu Constituency.
