JAMMU, Apr 16: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, here today started the construction work of Ward Office in Ward No. 52, Trikuta Nagar.
The event was attended by BJP Mandal president, Nitish Mahajan, former JMC Councillor, Ajay Gupta and prominent local leaders including Kulveer Charak, Pankaj Bral, Magan Grover, Naresh Chopra, Rama Jamwal, Meena Gupta, Des Raj Thapa, Anil Magotra, Nitin Thapa, Ankush and many locals.
The project is aimed at creating a dedicated space for addressing public grievances and ensuring better coordination between the residents and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that the Ward Office will act as a vital link between the public and the administration, enabling faster resolution of civic issues.
He reiterated that strengthening civic infrastructure and ensuring efficient governance at grass-root level remains his top priority and assured that development works across the constituency will continue at a rapid pace.
The locals expressed gratitude to the MLA for fulfilling a long-pending demand.
