Randhawa meets CE PHE, demands regular water supply

Jammu, June 28: A delegation led by BJP district vice president, Vikram Singh Randhawa called on Chief Engineer PHE Susheel Aima here today.
The BJP leader apprised Aima about the problems being faced by the residents of various areas including Narwal, Bhatindi, Jalabad, Kiyani Talab, Shankar Nagar, Rajinder Nagar and other adjoining localities due to unscheduled water supply in these areas and people have to face water shortage for days.
He said, the tankers engaged by the department failed to provide the drinking water in these areas and people also alleged that these tankers were being motivated by the local MLA, who used to divert them to provide water supply to his own persons.
The CE gave a patient hearing to the problems being faced by the people of these areas and assured that immediate steps would be taken to look into the issued being faced by the people.
Among others who were the members of the delegation included, Amit Gupta, Roshan Lal. Rajan Kumar, Vijay Gupta, Bailey Ram, Ravi Sharma, Balvinder Kumar and Manshaad Bibi and others.
