JAMMU, Dec 17: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today kick-started the construction of lane and drain at Sector-1A in Ward No-52, Trikuta Nagar Extension, here.
Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that he has fulfilled his commitment with the residents of the area. He said after being elected to the Upper House of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly a tour was conducted to the area by him and the problems were assessed. He had then committed to the residents of the area to carry out all round development in phased manner and in this connection the work on the lane and drain has been started.
Randhawa urged the Councillor Ajay Gupta who was also present on the occasion to work honestly and dedicatedly for the welfare of the people and all round development of the Ward.
Randhawa said that BJP is committed to carry forward the developmental agenda irrespective of caste, colour and creed. He assured the people of the area that all their problems would be addressed in phased manner. He said that BJP will deliver at the doorsteps of the people and will ensure that no hamlet is left without basic amenities like supply of drinking water, proper road connectivity etc.
The locals expressed satisfaction over the efforts of the Member Legislative Council, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, in fulfilling his promise made to them and expressed gratitude. The residents also extended full support to the BJP in the coming future as well.
