Randhawa kick starts blacktopping work

JAMMU, Nov 14: Former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch Vikram Randhawa, today kick-started blacktopping of a road at Apna Vihar Extension, Kunjwani in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment.
While speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that it was the long pending demand of the people of the locality as the road was constructed more than a decade ago. He said that those who were elected legislators for two consecutive terms from Gandhi Nagar and occupied important positions in the Government stands exposed with regard to their development model which they claimed.
Randhawa further said that the condition of the road was dilapidated and the locals were facing many hardships particularly during rains. He said that the matter was taken up with the concerned authorities and after brief follow-up the work of blacktopping has been started today. He said that the BJP is committed for all round development of all the hamlets particularly those which have been ignored during the Congress-NC rule.
He further assured the people that BJP will win the trust and hearts of the people by delivering justice and ushering an era of development in the entire Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the Central leadership of the BJP particularly the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are very keen to development of Jammu and Kashmir as per international standards and soon many mega projects will be announced.
