JAMMU, Oct 30: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today inaugurated a toilet complex along with Swami Nirmal Swaroop at Goshala, Gadigarh in Ward No-73 of Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency.
While speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that there was no toilet facility inside Goshala Gadigarh where lot of people visited on daily basis and many Sadhus and volunteers are also putting up inside Goshala. He said that to make Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s dream true in terms of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ a toilet complex has been constructed to facilitate those residing inside Goshala and also for those visiting Goshala.
He said that the amount for the construction of the toilet complex was sanctioned from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and urged the management of the Goshala to keep it neat and clean.
He said that the management of Goshala and other volunteers are serving the holy cows which are abandoned by the people after they stops giving milk and it is a very unique service towards Gomata.
He said that as per the Hindu rituals cow is a holy animal and has been given the status of a mother but it is very astonishing that people who use this animal for milk abandon it once it stops giving milk.
The management of the Goshala complimented Ch. Vikram Randhawa for his kind initiative and providing funds for the construction of toilet complex.
Others present on the occasion included Pt Ashok Khajuria senior BJP leader, Vikas Sharma, Pitamber Sharma, Bharat Sharma, Kishor Sharma and Girdhari Lal.
