JAMMU, Feb 24: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today dedicated newly constructed lane and drain to public at Apna Vihar in Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency.
While addressing the public after inaugurating the newly constructed lane and drain at Apna Vihar near Kunjwani Talab, Randhawa said that it is very astonishing that Apna Vihar being the part of Gandhi Nagar Constituency has remained un-developed. He accused the previous Government of bias and playing with the sentiments of the people in terms of development.
Randhawa said that as the demand of the lane and drain was brought to his notice by the local residents, he immediately pressed upon the concerned authorities to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for its construction. “After the preparation of the DPR, the authorities informed me that the lane and drain would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.5 lakh which was immediately released by me out of my Constituency Development Fund (CDF)”, he added.
Randhawa said that he is committed to carry forward the equitable development of the Gandhi Nagar and Jammu province irrespective of caste, colour and creed. He said that being a BJP leader, he would carry forward the slogan of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ‘Sabka Sath -Sabka Vikas’ to the doorsteps of the public.
Randhawa urged the public to support BJP in the forthcoming Parliamentary elections as it is the only party which can lead the nation to become a super power of the world.
