JAMMU, Jan 4: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa today visited villages Roi and Sher Garh in Gandhi Nagar Assembly Segment and announced Rs 5 lakh for the construction of the cremation shed.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Ch. Vikram said that the Coalition Government, especially, the BJP is committed to carry forward the slogan ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ given by the none else but the Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. He said the service of the poor and down -trodden sections of the society is the real service to the humanity. The MLC assured the residents of all possible help in carrying out developmental works in the area.
Responding to their demand of construction of a cremation shed Ch. Vikram immediately announced to release Rs 5 lakh out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the construction of the same. MLC’s this announcement was welcomed by the residents with huge applauds.
The locals appreciated the quick response of the MLC to their demand and pledged to extend full support to the Party. Various speakers in their address on the occasion said that only BJP can carry forward the agenda of development and urged all to extend their full support and cooperation to the party and its candidates.
