Ramesh Kharyal’s book titled “Vismist Atyachar” released

JAMMU, May 30: Vismist Atyachar (Forgotten Atrocities), a book written by Ramesh Kharyal was released here today by senior BJP leader and historian Prof Nirmal Singh in a special function.
The book highlights the agony of people in 1947 during partition at Mirpur and Alibeg (now in PoK).
Formally releasing the book, the BJP leader and other guests lauded the tireless efforts of Ramesh Kharyal in bringing out this book to convey the real pictures of atrocities faced by the displaced persons at Mirpur and Alibeg during partition.
While speaking on the book, Ramesh Kharyal said the book has different chapters consisting more than 130 pages. It also has a collection of maps and photographs related with said events, which speak the whole story of sufferings and tyrannies faced by the people during partition.
Dr Virender Mahajan, Amarchand Gupta, Shashank Chowdhary and other guests were also present and spoke on the occasion.
The function concluded with vote of thanks by Abha Mahajan.
