Rajput Sabha condemns police lathi-charge on students

JAMMU, May 18: Shri Amar Kashtriya Rajput Sabha has condemned police lathi-charge on the students protesting peacefully outside Press Club Jammu on Saturday against the reservation policy of the State Government.
The issue was discussed in detail in the meeting of Rajput Sabha held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Narayan Singh and all the executive members unanimously condemned the lathi-charge on the students protesting peacefully and demanding equality.
The Sabha said that the reservation policy of the Government is not providing justice to the poor and deserving people living Below Poverty Line.
The meeting advocated the demand of the protesting students, who were seeking that reservation be given to the people living Below Poverty Line irrespective of their caste and creed so that needy people of each community could enjoy the fruits of reservation.
