Rajni starts retaining wall work

JAMMU, Mar 17: Rajni Bala, Councillor of Ward No. 60 has started work of retaining wall at Mohalla Dhok Paloura here on Tuesday in the presence of prominent local of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajni said with the construction of the retaining wall, the people will get respite from the problems being faced by them, particularly in rainy season.
She said that it was a long pending demand of residents of Mohalla Dhok.
The Councillor informed that the work will be executed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
She also expressed resentment against the leaders of previous regime for being non-serious towards the demands of people of the area and added that Congress is committed to resolve people’s issues and to provide them basic amenities including proper road infrastructure, adequate water and power supply.
Rajni Bala directed the concerned authorities of JMC to complete the work within the stipulated time so that the people may heave a sigh of relief.
Som Nath Sharma, Senior Congress leader; Tarun Vaid, Virender Mehta, District Delegates; Surinder Singh, Block Vice President; Rajinder Mehta, Shiv Dev Singh, Parlad Singh, Hira Nand Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
