Rajnath Singh arrives on 2-day visit to JK

SRINAGAR, JUNE 07: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh reached Srinagar this morning on a 2-day visit to Jammu & Kashmir. He is accompanied by Union Home Secretary, Rajiv Gauba and other senior officers of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Home Minister was received by Minister for Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Abdul Rehman Veeri, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary, Minister for Animal Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli, Minister for Housing & Urban Development, Stapaul Sharma, Minister for Power, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Minister for Forests, Ecology & Environment, Rajiv Jasrotia, Minister of State for Finance & Panning, Ajay Nanda, Minister of State for Education & Tourism, Shakti Raj Parihar, Legislator, Ravinder Raina, Chief Secretary, B B Vyas, Director General Police, Dr S P Vaid and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Rohit Kansal.

Rajnath Singh is scheduled to address a Sports Conclave at SK Indoor Stadium Srinagar. He will review overall security scenario of the State and also the progress of PMDP at separate meetings in Srinagar this afternoon.
