JAMMU, Jan 19:  Rajesh Jain has been elected as president while S B Abrol as general secretary of  the Association of Industries Gangyal, Jammu.
The election for the executive body of  AoI Gangyal Jammu was held here today under the supervision of  Election Committee comprising of Sunil Gandotra, Bipin Sharma, Ashok Pandoh, Sudershan Khajuria  and Pardeep Vaid.
Rajesh Jain secured 260 votes and he defeated Tejwant Singh Reen who got 225 votes. Bansi Lal Gupta who secured 284 votes was elected as senior vice president. He defeated Sweesh Anand (202 vote). Ashok Jain secured 274 votes and was elected as vice president, S B Abrol general secretary (251 votes), Vijay Sharma ( 250 votes) secretary, while Sanjeev Wig as Treasurer. He secured the highest number of 299 votes and defeated his rival Jatinder Jain, who bagged just 175 votes.
The entire election process was held peacefully under Election Committee and after the conclusion of the election process, the winners were declared by the Election Commissioner nominated by the body.
