JAMMU, May 25: MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta today threw open the Raghunath Pura side gate of the iconic Raghunath Temple. This was a long pending demand of the people of the Raghunath Pura Mohalla and ultimately after a wait of 23 long years the gates of the temple were thrown open at an impressive ceremony.
The function was attended by JMC Commissioner Saujanya Sharma, secretary Dharmarth Trust Shashi Khajuria, President Lower Raghunath Bazar Association, Anil Gupta,Hari Market Traders Association President Rajesh Raina, Raghunath Bazar Association President Baldev Khullar.
Raghunath Pura Welfare Committee complimented the MLA Rajesh Gupta for taking this historical step of opening the gates of Raghunath Temple after a gap of 23 years.
While speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Gupta said that after the BJP Government came to power it has made a qualitative difference in the lives of the people. On an everyday basis new projects are being taken up for the welfare of the people of Jammu East Constituency. Another aspect of my work is the speed of implementation and close monitoring of the ongoing works and projects.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking to the people of the area made them aware about the various flagship schemes of the BJP like the recently launched Jan Sampark Abhiyan, Bima Yojna, Swachta Abhiyan and the Jan Dhan Yojna.The activists of the party have already fanned out in various areas of the Constituency to create an awareness among the people regarding the numerous pro people schemes launched by the Modi government. The forthcoming visit of Rajnath Singh Ji, Union Home Minister would be a huge opportunity for all of us to learn more about these schemes.
