Gun factory labourers’ strike enters 13th day

JAMMU, May 25: Gun factory labourer’s strike entered into 13th day, today.
Ongoing strike is held under the presidentship of Bhumi Sharma, union leader  who have criticized that Gun Manufacturing Association for  not resuming talks with factory labourers as well as factory owners in order to find some concrete solution of their problems.
The factory labourers have alleged that their factory owners deliberately did not come forward for talks as they want the labourers to starve which will result in resuming of their duties themselves.
On the other hand the labourers have appreciated the Labour Office team who took the initiative for finding the  solution between gun factory labourers and owners.
Meanwhile, a team of Assistant Commissioner Labour listened to the grievances of labourers and the association today and assured them that their demands will be met soon after considering its pros and cons.
In a statement issued the gun factory labourers have said that they will not resume work till their demands are met completely.
