JAMMU, Dec 4: Rajesh Gupta, BJP candidate for Jammu East Constituency conducted door-to-door campaign in various areas of his Constituency.
In Panjtirthi area, a meeting was organized by the women in which Dr.Navjot Kaur Sidhu from Punjab participated. The burning issues of traffic congestion and insanitation in the area were taken up with Rajesh Gupta.
Dr.Navjot, in her address, said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has inspired a new awakening in the people of the country and he has decided to devote herself completely in the service of the nation. She exhorted the gathering to vote and support Rajesh Gupta in the coming elections.
Gupta, while speaking on the occasion said” the mandate given to him represents the combined aspirations of all the grass root workers of BJP. “I have in mind a multi tier modern parking system to remove the traffic congestion in the city. I am conscious of the responsibility to represent such a prestigious constituency and I will live up to the expectations of the people, he added.
Gupta said that Narendra Modi’s dynamic leadership has energized the whole country and the people of the State are looking forward for a change in the political dispensation. There is an overwhelming response In favour of BJP and the support is increasing every day.
The residents and traders of Gummat area arranged a function to honour Rajesh Gupta.The traders and residents apprised him of the problems faced by them. He promised that after elections their problems would be addressed on a war footing basis. The prominent among those who participated in the function were Chairman of the Association Ashwani Sharma and President Subhash Gupta.
