Rajdhani passengers looted

JAMMU, Apr 5: Several passengers travelling in Jammu bound Rajdhani Express from New Delhi were robbed of their cash and other valuables at an isolated place near Ludhiana in Punjab last night.
SSP Railways Jammu, Shiv Kumar Sharma said the passengers reported at Railways police station this morning on arrival of the train that 5-7 criminals entered three to four coaches of Rajdhani Express at an isolated place near Ludhiana after pulling the chain and looted, cash, purses and other valuables of the passengers.
The passengers have lodged the FIR at Ludhiana, Mr Sharma said, adding the matter has been taken up with Railways Police at Ludhiana for conducting further investigations in the case.
A number of passengers robbed of their belongings hailed from Jammu.
