KATHUA Mar 13: Acting against liquor menace under the guidelines issued by Election Commission of India, police teams led by Inspector, Manjeet Singh, SHO, PS Rajbagh today seized 40 bottles of country liquor and arrested two notorious bootleggers.
As per reports, police in an action against liquor at Chann Arorian apprehended one bootlegger namely Rajesh Kumar @ Monu, S/o Harbans Singh, R/o Amala Hiranagar and seized 15 bottles in his illegal possession. The police team apprehended another bootlegger from Seswan Chadwal namely Makhan Singh, S/o Khajan Singh, R/o Veeru Chak Hiranagar and seized 25 bottles of country liquor from him.
Police registered two cases under relevant sections of the law against the accused and investigation taken up in both the cases.
