Raina, Sunil call on HM, discuss prevailing situation

SRINAGAR, June 7: BJP State president, Ravinder Raina demanded a tough action against those glorifying terrorism and curbing the actions of anti national forces in the State.
Raina ,who along with Power Minister, Sunil Sharma called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh here at Rajbhawan tonight said that public funerals of terrorists should not be allowed at any cost. He said when on the one hand we say that terrorists have no religion on the other hand some people are glorifying terrorism and making announcements from mosques to participate in the funeral processions which should not be allowed at any cost.
The BJP State chief also opined that the State Government should not bow before the anti national forces and take a tough stand against them. He said that the Government should take tough steps and it should not at any cost allow the radicalization of youth in the State.
He asked the Union Home Minister that dialogue should be held with right minded people, besides a concrete policy adopted on displaced Kashmiri Pandits from theValley.
Raina, while highlighting the issue of West Pak refugees, stressed on framing of a one time settlement policy on them and demanded that the second installment of Rs 2000 crore package for POJK refugees be also announced.
The BJP leader, while stressing on strengthening of nationalist forces in all the three regions of the State, demanded that the anti national forces be crushed with heavy hand. Moreover, concrete steps be taken against Pakistan at international level and the neighboring country should be forced to dismantle terrorist camps from its soil.
Raina discussed anti terror operations in the Valley and security measures for the coming annual Amarnath yatra besides the peace initiative taken by Government during the holy month of Ramzan with Union Home Minister.
While taking the stock of prevailing security scenario in the State, Raina discussed the ceasefire violations by Pakistan on borders with HM, construction of bunkers for which Rs 415 crore were sanctioned by Union Government, establishment of two new battalions of security forces for border youth and functioning of the State Government.
