Raina, Priya address 3 election rallies in Kargil

KARGIL, (LADAKH), Aug 7: Intensifying party’s campaign to secure victory in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil,  BJP State president, Ravinder Raina (MLA) along-with senior party leaders, including party State spokesperson, Priya Sethi (MLA), Haji Khudaam, Zakir Zakiri and Kargil Mahilla Morcha president, Leela Bano reached Sankoo Valley and addressed the rallies there.
They addressed three largely attended rallies at Sankoo, Trespone and Thasgam constituencies of Kargil Hill Development Council.
Addressing the rallies, BJP State president, Ravinder Raina made fervent appeal to the people to vote for BJP in Kargil Hill Development Council elections as BJP can only do justice with the people of Kargil. Raina said during the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Government, Kargil got National Highway and now it is Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s Sarkar and Kargil again got a great gift in the form of Zojilla Tunnel with the release of thousands of crores of Rupees by the Centre.
Raina also enumerated various other landmark achievements like expansion of Kargil Airport, Girls Degree College at Drass and Girls Hostel under Centrally sponsored scheme RUSA.
Raina emphasized that the sole motto of BJP is to work for the development of the region and opening of various avenues in multiple sectors. He said that the BJP’s prime concern is to ensure the core issue and its ideology of “development for all”, in every region. He further prompted the masses of Kargil to vote for BJP’s candidates to support development at ground level.
Addressing the rallies, Priya Sethi made an attack on the other political parties and said that Congress and National Conference (NC) betrayed the people of Kargil, as after winning the elections Congress and NC did nothing for the development of Kargil. She said only BJP has pain for the people of Kargil.  She appealed to the women of Kargil to come forward and play vital role in strengthening of democratic process.
