RAJOURI, July 27: MLA Nowshera Ravinder Raina today started the construction of much needed work on Lamberi-Dandani road to provide the better road connectivity to the people of border areas.
SDM Nowshera, Harbans Lal, PMGSY AE Vijay Kumar, SI Habib and large number of locals including Sarpanch Mohinder Pal, Naib Sarpanch Gandharb Singh, Chairman Jagdish Raj, Manav Gandotra and others were present on the occasion. Locals appreciated the efforts of MLA Ravinder Raina for working day and night for the development and highlighted the achievements of MLA Ravinder Raina. Sarpanch Mohinder Pal while speaking on the occasion said “we have not even dreamed about the works that our MLA did in last two and a half years’’.
In his address Ravinder Raina said that he is trying his level best to do the justice to all sections of society and with the support and blessings of the common masses he has succeeded in bringing the most important developmental projects in Nowshera and Sunderbani including the completion of Nowshera Degree College, Nowshera bye pass road, hundred bedded Nowshera Hospital, identification of land and transferring the same to Sunderbani Degree college at Thandapani, , Devek to Hathal road, Dharat-Dandani bridge, Siot-Thichka bridge, Lamberi-Chaprar road, Siot-Bajabai Thichka road, Chani-Bakhar via Mahimal road,Chowki -Dhanaka road, Nowshera-Darshan Nagar road beside this improvement and upgradation of larger number rural roads, Nowshera and Sunderbani town roads and large scale development in all panchayats with the cooperation of Rural Development Department.
Raina said the corrupt officials and the black sheep have been taken to task and poor and deprived people are given justice. He said that many more projects have been submitted to the Government of India and hope that early funding in these projects will bring more development in the area.
Later on MLA Ravinder Raina along with SDM Sunderbani Kartar Singh, Tehsildar Vijay Sharma, BMO Dr Raguvir Singh, BDO Surinder Singh and others attended the mega Public Darbar at border village Pelli-Faal and listened the grievances of locals and directed the official for early redresal of the problems being faced by the villagers
