In overall development of any region, the role of rail connectivity assumes first place. With this, not only cheap means of transportation is made available to masses but it also enlarges tourism potential in the area. Remaining cut off from such facilities, generates a feeling of being ignored and kept away from developmental graph. When high mountains of Peer Panchal haven’t been left uncrossed and Kashmir already stands blessed with rail whistles, where the bottlenecks lie to facilitate huge population from Jammu to Poonch. It is strongly hoped that with new political/economic scenario and the strategic position of the area, the problems of Distts Rajouri and Poonch will surely be removed by rail link. As the demand lives since long, it would be unjust to keep it unmet.
