Indian hockey team, this time has won the gold in Asian Games and following their foot steps, Under 21 Indian hockey team too has won the final of a prestigious tournament on Oct 19 in Malaysia. The speciality in this tournament has brought is that Under 21 Indian team has trounced very strong Australian Team three zero and Pakistan team by six zero.
Harmanpreet Singh has scored nine goals in this tournament. For his this distinction, he alongwith other players of Indian Hockey deserve to be rewarded lavishly by the Indian sports bodies and the State Governments.
It appears that the Indian Hockey is nearing its success in gaining its lost glory provided there are good incentives and proper encouragement to the players. BCCI, a very rich sports body must also encourage Indian Hockey.
