JAMMU, Aug 21: On fifth day of his visit to the Union Territory of Ladakh, Congress leader and Lok Sabha member Rahul Gandhi today visited Khardung La Pass in the UT.
He also met the locals while riding a bike to the high altitude mountain pass, which is almost 40 kilometres from Leh and the gateway to Shyok and Nubra valleys. Rahul reached Ladakh on Thursday and is expected to stay there till August 25.
Videos showed the Congress leader reaching Khardung La along with other bikers and posing for photos with them.
He interacted with the people enroute while riding on the bike in the mountainous terrain of Ladakh and encouraging some guitarists.
Rahul yesterday visited Pangong lake.
He will visit Kargil during his stay and will also interact with the youth and Congress leaders.
