R S Sharma calls on CM, submits charter of demands

JAMMU, Feb 11:  The Vice-Chairman of J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kissans and MLA Nowshera, Radhay Sham Sharma today called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and submitted a charter of demands containing 15-points pertaining to the proper development of his constituency.
He demanded rehabilitation of border migrants of Nowshera by proving them residential plots  at safer places,  sanctioning of two clusters  of model villages for Sunderbani and Nowshera, creation of EM&RE vision at Nowshera, Police recruitment drive in the constituency, upgradation of schools, establishment of Sheep Research and Development Farm at Kalsian, construction of mini-secretariat building at Sub-District headquarters, Government jobs to disabled persons, upgradation of Sub-District hospital, electrification of left over SC/ST localities, creation of post of Additional District and Session Judge at Nowshera and Sub-Judge at Sunderbani, enhancement in the salaries and  pensions of Namberdars/Chowkidars, early conduct of the interviews for the applications invited in 2006 and release of selection list, etc.
Mr Sharma also demanded tehsil status for Bhawani, CD Block for Devak and Niabat for Nalla in his constituency.
The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to Mr Sharma and assured timely redressal of all the issues of vital public importance in border constituency of Nowshera.
