RAJOURI, Dec 21: MLA Rajouri, Qammar Choudhary today held a public darbar at Gurdhan Bal and took stock of the people’s problems.
While addressing the gathering, Qammar Choudhary said the Government is not for PDP workers or those who voted for PDP but for all people irrespective of their religion or region. He said that it is the duty of the Government to uplift the downtrodden people who were ignored earlier by previous Governments.
Earlier, MLA Rajouri gave a patient hearing to the public issues and problems. Meanwhile, Qammar Choudhary announced 2 new power transformers from his CDF for overcoming problems of electricity in his constituency.
Choudhary assured the people that issue of Gurdhan road will be taken up soon, as the Government is working day and night for repair and blacktopping of already existing roads besides construction of new roads. He also said work on various schemes like water uplifting scheme are under process. The MLA also announced two culverts for the area.
The MLA was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner, Development, Noor Alam Choudhary, Tehsildar, Salam Din Choudhary, District Social Welfare Officer, Abdul Khabir Ahmed, Executive Engineer, PMGSY, Shabir Choudhary, Chief Agriculture Officer, Younis Choudhary, AEE PHE, Mohd Hussain, AEE Gowsawami, AEE Jamshaid Sheikh and party workers. Local Sarpanches and Panches were also present on the occasion.
