JAMMU, May 4: PWD Draftsmen Association, R&B Wing Jammu Province held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president demanded removal of pay anomalies of the draftsmen cadre.
While speaking, president informed that the Association has written to Finance Minister also for removal of pay anomalies of the draftsmen cadre, failing which the cadre will be compelled to go on strike like other cadres including clerks, graduate engineers, etc.
He stated that the Association has time and again represented to the Government for removal of the pay anomalies since from 2007 created due to issuance of different SROs in favour of Assistant Officers, Section Officers, Statistical Officers, but till date it has not been considered and as such the draftsmen cadre is now feeling deceived.
