JAMMU, Jan 8: A meeting was conducted by Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) with the officials from the Health Section and Transport Section of the Municipality here, today.
The meeting was conducted to resolve issues and gather new ideas for providing better sanitation facilities in Jammu and also to bring Jammu on a much higher rank in Swaach Sarwekshaan 2020.
During the meeting, Health Officer, JMC, Assistant Sanitary Officer, JMC, Transport Officer, JMC and other officials were present.
In the meeting many issues regarding sanitation in the different zones of the JMC were discussed and resolved.
Deputy Mayor directed the officials to ensure that all the points discussed in the meeting are translated into action on ground whether it’s door to door collection, GR collection, awareness camps regarded segregated waste, segregated waste collection, etc.
She said everything should be implemented without any delay.
