SHIMLA, May 10: Governor of Punjab Gulab Chand Kataria paid a courtesy call on Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta at Lok Bhavan, here today.
Kavinder Gupta warmly welcomed the Punjab Governor and honoured him with the traditional Himachali cap, shawl and a memento as a gesture of respect and goodwill.
During the meeting, the two Governors held detailed discussions on various matters of mutual interest, including issues related to inter-state cooperation, cultural exchange and regional development.
They also exchanged views on strengthening the spirit of national unity and cooperative federalism.
Senior officials of Lok Bhavan were also present on the occasion.
