JAMMU, Oct 7: The protesting Kashmiir migrant unemployed youth who are on dharma for last some days in front of Press Club here in support of their demands were not allowed to leave towards the Civil Secretariat today by the police to show their resentment against the callousness of the Government towards them.
The protesting migrant youth with pla- cards and banners in their hands tried to take out a procession towards Civil Secretariat from Press Club to register their protest against the Government and its decision for announcing new 1997 posts under PM package without giving justice to 45 youth who have already been selected through the recruitment process by the Government.
The protesting youth raising slogans in support of their demands said that with this step the Government has put their future in jeopardy as they are at the verge of over age and can’t get a job. They demanded that the appointment orders be issued in their favour as they have already been selected through a set process of law. The protestors warned to intensify the agitation in case their demand was not settled immediately and they were not given justice.
In an appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha they sought his personnel intervention in the matter and accused the UT administration of playing with their future.
