Protest of 45 aggrieved youth enters 170th day

JAMMU, Apr 6: The ongoing protest of 45 aggrieved left out PM package aspirants entered into 170th day at Exhibition Ground near Press Club here, today.
Despite many odds including the spread of second wave of COVID Pandemic these meritorious youth continue their protest demanding issuance of appointment orders in their favour which were not issued by the concerned authorities on flimsy grounds.
The protesting youth said that they have suffered a lot over last 31 years of turmoil and hoping against the hope that they will get a chance to serve in Kashmir valley paving a way for their return to their ancestral land but this all dashed into ground. The protesting youth said that despite resigning from various private sector jobs in other parts of the country they showed willingness to serve in Valley but it is unfortunate that their appointment orders were not issued till date while their counterparts in the same merit list were selected.
The protesting youth said that how long they would have to wait for their selection and redressal of their grievances. They renewed their appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha seeking his immediate intervention in the matter. They urged him to issue directives to concerned authorities to issue the appointment orders in favour of hapless youth without any delay.
They also alleged that their families are also suffering as these 45 youth are totally idle for over some years now and have become a burden over their old age parents. Those who addressed the protestors included Deepak Raina, Bharti Koul, Kamlesh Pandita, Rozy Bhat and Neetu Raina.
