UDHAMPUR, Feb 23: The villagers of Block Ghordi continued their protest for 22nd day in favour of their demands for tehsil status to Ghordi.
The villagers kept their shops and other establishments closed in support of their demand and held a demonstration. They said that 27 villages fall in Ghordi Block and total population is about 65000.
Protestor also raised slogans in favour of their demand. They demanded tahsil status for Ghordi block as soon as possible.
The protest dharna was also addressed by the locals, who included Sarpanch Ghordi Bharat Bushan Sharma, Joginder Kumar, Des Raj, Rano Devi and others.
