JAMMU, Feb 23: V-Guard Industries Limited, India’s leading consumer Electrical and Electronics Company today organised dealers meet for their product range “Dups & Battery” in Jammu.
The meet was organised as part of the company’s endeavour to strengthen its bond with their business partners and show appreciation for the efforts taken by them in serving the customers.
V-Guard started operations in Jammu 3 years back and since then there has been a steady growth of more than 200 per cent with a robust network of almost more than 300 direct and indirect dealers in J&K. V-Guard now plans to strengthen its presence in this region by increasing the network to 600 to 1000 dealers. The company is planning to double its sales next FY from this new burgeoning market.
Speaking on the occasion, Sumit Jha, GM, V-Guard Industries Limited, said, “Jammu has always been a crucial market for us in the North region, as it holds immense business potential, which is yet to be explored. Thus, it becomes more important for us to strengthen our position in the region and this dealer meet is a small step to achieve this objective. The meet is organized to emphasize our appreciation of their efforts as well as intimate them of our future plans for the region. We hope such meets will create a stronger connect with the brand, especially with the new dealers who just came on board”.
Manikuttan S, Regional Manager, DUPS and Battery, V-Guard Industries Limited asked dealers to offer best of services to customers. “We hope to continue this relationship to reach further milestones in the coming years” he added.
Last year, in July 2013, V-Guard invested Rs 24 crore for capacity enhancements of their cable factory in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. In the recently concluded quarter, V-Guard witnessed a net profit growth of 14 per cent. The company presently has a strong network of 28 branches, over 230 distributors, 2500 channel partners and 13,000 retailers across the country.
