SRINAGAR: Property worth lakhs were destroyed in a devastating fire in apple township of Sopore in North Kashmir District of Baramulla on Tuesday.
Official sources said fire broke out in a shop in Sopore town early on Tuesday morning.
However, no one was injured. However, before the fire tenders could reach the spot, fire spread to other nearby shops.
They said that about a dozen shops besides a restaurant were damaged in the fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, they added. (AGENCIES)
