Propagation of divine teachings leads to peace, prosperity: Ganga

SAMBA, Dec 28: Emphasizing the need of propagating and promoting divine teachings, Former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga today said that every religion inspires us to strive for world peace and we must be true to our religion.
Ganga, while addressing a religious congregation during Bhagwat Saptah at Village Takkar, Kartholi by Shashtri Subash Chander Ji, stressed on the need of adopting saintly behavior in daily deeds which is imperative to lead a peaceful and prosperous life.
“Love and peace coupled with spiritual knowledge has great power to bind people together for a prosperous and harmonious society besides nurturing respect for all faiths”, the former MLA maintained.
Expressing concern over mounting discontentment, stress and uncertainty among people today, he appealed the people to make spirituality a part of their overburdened lives to get rid of worldly worries and fears.
Ganga, while appreciating such religious events, said that these provide an opportunity to us to be in good company which is important for a dignified and harmonious life. “A man is known by the company he keeps”, he opined. He said that spiritual leaders guide us towards attaining self realization which is the ultimate motive of human life besides giving us an opportunity for introspect to improve upon ourselves.
