JAMMU, Dec 14: Dr Annil Mahajan, Professor and Head, Department of General Medicine, GMC Jammu and leading Rheumatologist has brought laurels to the Institute and State with a rare and distinct honour of being elected as Executive Committee Member of Medical Council of India (MCI) in the first general body meeting of the newly elected members of MCI held recently.
MCI is a principal and supreme regulatory Governing body of all medical Institutions of the country in term of admissions, requirement, standardisation of medical education, ethics code and conduct of medical practise.
This is another proud contribution of Prof Mahajan to his distinct honours beside his numerous contributions as first trained Rheumatologist in the State. He has immense contributions in Rheumatology, Menopause, HIV Medicine, Medical Journalism beside Medical Excellence in General Medicine, Teaching and Patient Care.
