JAMMU, May 21: The Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Prof Ashok Aima will be visiting China as part of an Academic Delegation accompanying President, Pranab Mukherjee’s state visit to China from May 24-26.
It is expected that CUJ will enter into a MoU with Lanzhou University of China for fostering academic exchange and partnership for further research. Both universities have identified that there is enough potential for partnership in creating a world class academic infrastructure in the field of science and technology and humanities.
CUJ is the one, among the only two Central Universities shortlisted for such collaboration. The signing in ceremony will be held on May 24, 2016 at the Peking University, Beijing in the presence of President of India.
Prof Ashok Aima will be speaking at the Round table discussion between Indian and Chinese academia on themes related to innovation, globalization of education and the need for sharing of knowledge.
