JAMMU, Apr 7: On the 487th Prakash Utsav of Goswami Shri Guru Nabha Dass Ji, All Jammu and Kashmir Mahasha Sabha Shakti Nagar took out a grand procession at Jammu.
Vijay Malhotra, (President All Jammu and Kashmir Mahasha Sabha), Braham Jyot Satti, Incharge BJP OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir along with various political personalities attended the grand procession.
On the way, water, halwa and langar were organized by various social people at different sites.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Malhotra said that he is very happy because a huge number of prominent and political personalities attended the procession and listened to the life story of Guru Nabha Dass Ji.
He said Guruji enlightened the whole nation by his eternal thoughts and always spread his knowledge of Brahmgyan among people.
While speaking to the media persons, Braham Jyot spoke on life story of Guru Nabha Dass Ji saying he was born on 8th April 1537 AD in Ram Bhadrachal (Telangana) near the Godavari River to mother Saraswati Janaki Devi and father Ram Das Ji. His family, who sung songs in functions and made baskets, were worshipers of Lord Sri Ram.
He said Guru Nabha Dass ji was knowledgeable about Brahma. He wrote the religious book Bhagatmala and was given the title of Goswami in Kanhar Das ji’s Bhandara (1592 AD). He did knowledge seminar with Goswami Tulsi Das ji, the author of Shri Ramayana, for three years. He was blind by birth and his name was Narayan Das.
