KARGIL, July 28: In Ladakh, the mourning procession of Hazrat Abass Alamdar took place at Kargil where people from adjoining villages reached Kargil town under the banner of Anjuman Jamiyat Ullama Isna Ashriya Kargil (AJUIAK) Ladakh and Imam Khomenie Memorial Trust Kargil.

The Procession with Alams and clad in black cloths reciting lamentations on Shodae Karbala passing through Fatima Chowk, Isna Ashriya Chowk, Khomeni Chowk and Lal Chowk, concluded at Hussaini Park and Isna Ashriya Complex.
Speakers threw light on the contribution of Hazrat Abass A S in the history of Karbala. Meanwhile, various stalls (Sabeels) were installed enroute the procession where free water, juice and other eatables were distributed free to the mourners.
The procession was taken out under heavy police security. The District Magistrate was also monitoring the procession.
Health Department Kargil had installed camps at various locations to provide immediate medical aids if needed and a blood donation camp was also held by Al Raza Health Care and Research Foundation, Kargil.
